Courses

10 Mile Course UC21 (club events - Cross, Axbridge)
Start at Cross south of junction of A38/A371 lower leg. Proceed Southwest to East Brent roundabout. Retrace and finish opposite start. Sign on Shute Shelve car park on Axbridge bypass 45 minutes before start.

10 Mile Course U21/10 (open events - Cross, Axbridge)

Start on the A371 (Cross Lane) approx 40 metres from the Junction with the A38 crossroads with the village of Cross. Proceed from the start to the junction with the A38 then immediately turn left (GIVE WAY/CARE!) onto the A38 heading towards Burnham on Sea. Continue along the A38 through Lower Weare, Biddisham, Tarnock and Rooksbridge to the roundabout at the junction of A38 / A370 East Brent. At roundabout circle (CARE!) and retrace on the A38 through Rooksbridge, Tarnock, Biddisham and Lower Weare to finish approx 175 metres before the cross-roads junction A38 / A371 at the village of Cross. HQ as per start sheet.
 
Sporting 19 Mile Course UC253 (club events - Cross, Axbridge)
Same start as for 10 mile. Proceed south past East Brent RAB towards Brent Knoll to the Fox & Goose PH. Turn left and proceed down Harp Road to Mark Causeway (STOP at Marshall). Turn LEFT and proceed through Mark to Wedmore. LEFT at T-junction in Wedmore (CARE) and continue on the same road skirting Cheddar, turn LEFT onto A371 (CARE) onto the Axbridge bypass. Finish at first entrance to "sign-on" car park near Shute Shelve. Sign on Shute Shelve car park on Axbridge bypass 45 minutes before start.

25 Mile Course UC252 (club events - Badgworth, Axbridge)
Start on unclassified road, Badgworth Lane immediately opposite Badgworth Lay-by. From start turn Left, joining A38. Follow A38 over East Brent RAB to turn Left at Fox & Goose PH (Whitecross).  Proceed to junction with Mark Causeway marshall), observing “STOP SIGN”. Turn Left to Mark Causeway and proceed through Mark and Blackford on B3139 to Wedmore. Turn Left at bottom of short decent in Wedmore to B3151 proceeding to Cheddar. On entering Cheddar bear left turning Left at give way to join A371. Stay on A371 bearing left at top of Axbridge by-pass to cross mini RAB and on to junction with A38. Left (GREAT CARE) to join A38. Proceed South to East Brent RAB, encircle and retrace North on A38 to finish just beyond Biddisham Village Hall. (Approximately ½ mile short of start.) Sign on in layby opposite Badgworth Lane on A38 45 minutes before start.

Hill Climb Course UH26 (club event - Burrington Combe)
Start just beyond first cattle grid by car park just beyond Burrington Coombe Inn. Finish at the very top of Burrington Coombe opposite house (KOM line).  Sign on in car park just up from Burrington in 45 minutes before start
 

Hill Climb Course UH20 (open event - Westclose Hill, Rodney Stoke)

START in Westfield Lane, Rodney Stoke approximately 140 metres from A371 at steel cover 3 yards beyond far gatepost to water station (OS Grid Ref. ST 492498) and FINISH opposite fence post on right level with beacon/underground reservoir (Broad Lane). Length 1.979 Km, height gain 172 metres.
